The promotional View book for CSU Stanislaus’ Housing & Residential Life, effectively present the client’s purpose and operations, while also alluding to the personality of the dorms. The design is compact, rich with content that is visually and verbally playful. The book consists of a deck of 12 ‘reason cards’ that provide the prospective student with details of campus living that extend beyond the features, and redefines the benefits. It elevates the dorm life image in a smart, original way.

Humor is used throughout as numerous visual examples of campus life are presented on each spread. It was important to capture the diversity and character of the place. And the combination of exciting photography with enjoyable text created a strong impact. The strength of the piece lies in it’s ability provide relevant reasons in an entertaining way.
